“The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.”

Maybe its because we spent many years as foreign missionaries, but this passage always seems to jump off of the page at me. Jesus made this statement after watching the crowds and realizing that they were, “like sheep without a shepherd.” God’s love for the world and His plan to reach it has not changed in 2000 years.

Even in this age of easy travel and amazing technology, God’s message of love and salvation is still spread from person to person. Most people do not come to Christ because a stranger convinced them to pray a prayer. Instead, most people connect with God because a friend invited them to church or cared for them in a crisis.

God’s love for the world and His plan to reach it has not changed.

The harvest is great, but the workers are few. That is why we need to stay focused on our mission of planting great churches throughout the world. The local church is still the best way to reach people with the Gospel. A healthy, thriving church in a community is a gateway for people into the Kingdom of God. We are committed to seeing healthy churches all over the world.

The local church is still the best way to reach people with the Gospel.

Would you pray with us that God would raise up church planters, pastors, worship leaders, and missionaries as we serve in America, Africa, India, and South America? We are believing God for a great harvest and we know that He is preparing and equipping people for this great work! And maybe, God might speak to you about about being a part of this much needed Kingdom workforce in this big world.

Would you like to help Annie and I make a difference in the United States, Africa, India, and in South America? It is easy to get involved. Just click here. Thanks so much!
