September 7th is Independence Day in Brazil. This is the message I preached that night at C3 Church, Curitiba. This was the first message in a three week series called “Independência.” What kind of politics does God’s Kingdom have? How do the politics of the world relate to the politics of the Kingdom? And did you know that the opening verse of Mark’s Gospel would have so angered the Romans that it is no wonder that they persecuted the early church? My friend, Willi Goossen, was my translator for the night.
